Just as Taylor Swift dropped the track list for her new album, The Tortured Poets Department, Swifties spotted the lyrics that seem to refer to her ex-boyfriend, Joe Alwyn.
Taylor already hinted about the upcoming album when she received the Grammys. “So Long London” is the name of the track, which makes fans wonder if the song is about Joe Alwyn, her ex. Because, when they both were active in a relationship, the singer used to spend her days in London.
Since Joe is from London, Taylor dedicated a song called London Boy to show her love for him. But things turned topsy-turvy after they broke up. The latest tracks sounded more relatable to Taylor breaking up with her ex, such as “ My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys,” “ But Daddy I Love Him,” “ I Can Fix Him ( NO I Really Can),” “ I Can Do With A Broken Heart” and “ The Smallest Man Who ever Lived.”
Taylor’s fans believe that even though some of her lyrics refer to her ex, others may be about her new boyfriend and the NFL star, Travis Kelce. Taylor and Joe broke up in 2016, and later she decided to move on with Travis.
Now the social media page is loaded with comments where fans relate her new releases with Joe Alwyn. Whatever the circumstances, the Swifties are waiting for April 19, 2024, to enjoy her latest music.
