The well-known anchor James Corden was barred from a well-known New York City restaurant after being disrespectful to a waitress. In response, the restaurant owner accused James of being a “abusive customer” on his Instagram page. The renowned restaurant Balthazar is owned by 71-year-old Keith McNally in New York City.
“James Corden is a Hugely gifted comedian, but a tiny Cretin of a man, And the most abusive customer to my Balthazar servers since the restaurant opened 25 years ago,” the restaurant owner captioned his post.
On October 9th, James and his wife went to Balthazar for brunch, and his wife ordered an egg yolk omelette with gruyere cheese and salad. When the dish arrived, the couple complained that a little bit of egg white had been mixed with the egg yolk. The restaurant got the dish changed, but instead of salad they mistakenly sent fries. This triggered Corden, and he started yelling at the waitress.
“You can’t do your job! You can’t do your job! Maybe I should go into the kitchen and cook the omelette myself!”
The restaurant owner also claims that this is not the first time Corden was abusive to his staff.
However, Keith McNally reversed the ban as the late-night talk show host called him and apologized.
