Jason Sudeikis Reveals Why He Called it Quits!

But now after a year of highs and lows, Jason Sudeikis is finally speaking out about his split from Olivia Wilde. The 45-year-old actor’s Apple TV series, Ted Lasso, was a surprise success, but it also marked the end of his relationship with Olivia Wilde, the mother of his two children.

Sudeikis describes his split from the actress and filmmaker in a GQ cover story about the “Ted Lasso” star, which was published Tuesday. They called it quits in November 2020, and Sudeikis admitted at the time that “he didn’t have total clarity about the end of the relationship.”

Sudeikis describes that he and Wilde called it quits in November 2020 in the new cover story for GQ magazine. Since their split, Wilde, 37, has been romantically linked to 27-year-old singer Harry Styles, while Sudeikis is dating his Ted Lasso co-star, 34-year-old Keeley Hazell.

“I’ll have a better understanding of why in a year,” he reveals to the magazine about his split. He also added that “and an even better one in two, and an even greater one in five, and it’ll go from being, you know, a book of my life to becoming a chapter to a paragraph to a line to a word to a doodle.”

For the time being, the actor is concentrating on what he can take away from the year. “That’s an experience from which you either learn or make excuses,” he says. “You accept some responsibility for it, hold yourself accountable for what you do, but you also try to learn something other than the obvious from it.”
