After a successful spinoff from Breaking bad’s Better call Saul, Vince Gilligan will bring again it’s thrilling screenplay and razor-sharp writing that reaped critical and popular praise for its two successful TV series into a Hollywood movie.
Hardcore fans have been anticipating the movie since last November when plans for a ‘sequel’ made its way to the spotlight. Hollywood reporter made it finally official that the project was in works, with Netflix reserving the first-run rights of the movie before airing on AMC.
It will be a sequel revolving around Aaron Paul, who will reprise his Emmy-winning role as Jesse Pinkman.
It is still a doubt if Walter White, our favorite Chemistry teacher will appear in the movie or not, but Bryan Cranston has said he would reprise his character if Gilligan asked him.
The project is top-secret and a clear timeline of the shoot is not available as of now. But unlike Better Call Saul, which is a standalone prequel telling the story of Bob Odenkirk’s Saul Goodman, the Breaking Bad movie will be a sequel centered around Jesse Pinkman.
The massive buildup in the four seasons leading to the epic season finale had us glued to our seats and hearts pace with thrill and suspense. Can the movie recreate the same feel? Let us know in the comments!
