Japan’s biggest anime event, Jump Festa 2023 was a great success among fans. Several manga and anime panels revealed some of their biggest plans for the future, surprising fans. Although, one panel made fans disappointed. Yes, it was the Naruto and Boruto: Naruto Next Generations panel. But there was one specific announcement that compensated for the fandom’s disbelief. Sasuke Retsuden is being animated this year.

In addition to the popularity poll, live concert, and beginning of the Code Arc in Boruto, the panel revealed that the popular spin-off manga, written by Jun Esaka and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto, will be animated this year. Jujutsu Kaisen

• Season 2 of the anime will begin in July 2023. Will introduce Toji Fushiguro, and Riko Amanai and feature Satoru Gojo’s past, and the Shibuya Arc (Anime watchers only, brace yourselves).
• The manga will probably conclude in a year, according to creator Gege Akutami.

• One Piece has no plans to end anytime soon

Naruto and Boruto: Naruto Next Generations

• NARUTOP99 character popularity poll on Twitter and the most-popular character will get a short manga edition
• A special music event, “Naruto The Live” as the anime celebrates its 20th anniversary. The event can expect Kana-Boon, Flow, and other famous bands that contributed to the anime’s openings and end credits over the years.
• Sasuke: Retsuden to become an anime. The first episode will air on January 22, 2023.
