Kate Garraway Posts A Romantic Card That Derek Draper Wrote Prior to COVID-19 Attack!

The GMB host Kate Garraway has now posted a love card that was written by her spouse Derek Draper before he was affected by corona.

The 53 yr old is back on Friday to the ITV breakfast show in which she said with a tearful eye that Derek might ‘never recover’ from the coronavirus.

Draper is in a coma for nearly 10 weeks and might be there for a year or so, as per the doctors.

Talking to ‘The Sun’ she shared an old text from her husband when she was packing a bag of washing things for the hospital.

Kate stated: “I opened it up and there was a card he’d written for me, which I’d read at the time.”

“It says how much he loves me, how proud of me he is, and that he was feeling so good about us.” “It was just so romantic and it feels so odd reading it now he’s in this state.”

Though Derek has successfully beaten the virus by testing negative now, he has not recovered as his major organs are damaged.

She opened to Good Morning Viewers emotionally stating: “The fight with the virus has been won and he’s still here but it’s wreaked extraordinary damage on his body and we don’t know if he can recover from that.”

Getting more into Derek’s health status she said: “Derek’s situation is incredibly rare. The damage he’s sustained and we don’t know the effect on his body and if he can recover and how he would recover.” “Some of the damage he’s got, he’s only one in five people they’ve seen with it.”

Garraway also said that their 10 yr old boy Billy has been in his father’s room sleeping near his empty bed.
