Kate Winslet was spotted leaving for the hospital in Dubrovnik after allegedly getting hurt while filming the next movie “Lee” in Croatia.

The film is being directed by Ellen Kuras, who served as the cinematographer for Kate’s 2004 movie Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. It is based on Lee Miller’s son Antony Penrose’s book The Lives of Lee Miller.

The 46-year-old actress, who in the movie plays renowned American photojournalist Lee Miller, fell while filming in the Kupari village.

The movie, titled Lee, will chronicle the photojournalist’s life and experiences as she heads to the front lines of World War II to reveal the horrifying truths about the Nazis. She then learns the reality of her past as she travels.

Kate who is also the producer of the film was very much excited about playing Lee, she made the statement that “Lee Miller was a magnificent explosion of extremes. A woman I admire tremendously and whom I am so thrilled to be playing in this film,” she said. “An extreme lover, thinker, life liver, cook, Vogue cover girl, war correspondent, icon, mother. And yet history leaves her largely misunderstood.”

Post 21 days of shooting out of 116 days everything came to a stop and she returned back to her abode in London in the countryside where she has been spending her lockdown for 5 months.

“I think it’s the unknown element of this virus — we just don’t know how it’s going to affect any given individual — I think that was what’s so terrifying,” she said. “I’m a very practical, straightforward person, and if I have to respond to an emergency, I just go into that zone.”

She also added that: “People thought I was crazy because I had been walking around [Philadelphia] wearing a mask for weeks, going into the grocery store and wiping everything down with isopropyl alcohol and wearing gloves,” she explains the time when the virus was said to be emerging in the beginning from Wuhan.

Adding to this she said: “Then all of a sudden March 13 came around, and people were like, ‘Fuck, where do I get one of those masks?’”

Her initial warning proved right and went on to say that two of her pals have been affected by Corona.
