Be it their personal lives or parties or award nights, it’s the Kardashians who rule social media. The latest hype is that Kim Kardashian West has christened her children at her native Armenia as per traditions.
She shared 3 beautiful pictures were fans could witness her children, Saint, Psalm and Chicago immersed in the holy water. Besides, Kim was next to them seeing them baptized.
She captioned the picture “Baptism”. The ceremony took place in an orthodox church where they were fully immersed which is different from Catholic tradition but the order of the other procedures remains the same.
Adding to this, Kim was also baptized in the previous week. Though Kim was brought up as a Christian it is said that her parents did not approve her into the belief as baptism takes place only once.
The latest photos from the ritual showed Kim wrapping her head with a native scarf paired up with a high neck, long sleeve full dress.
The reality star also stated that: “So blessed to have been baptized along with my babies.”
Her Armenian heritage comes from her father as Robert Kardashian was had an Armenian grandfather who later moved to the US in the 19th century. The ceremony was attended by her sister Kourtney and her children.
She expressed her heartfelt thanks stating: “Thank you Armenia for hosting my family and me on such a memorable trip.” “So blessed to have been baptized along with my babies at Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, Armenia’s main cathedral which is sometimes referred to as the Vatican of the Armenian Apostolic Church. This church was built in 303 AD.”
