Reality TV always had us glued to the TV complaining about how everything was scripted. The new unscripted Apple+ series by Oprah Winfrey and Prince Harry revealed Steffani Germonatta’s AKA Lady Gaga’s scariest nightmare in her own words.
Lady Gaga spoke about the abuse and difficulties she faced during the difficult period on the premiere episode of the show “The Me You Can’t See”
Lady Gaga recollected the painful memory of how a producer had threatened to burn her music recordings when she had said no to consensual intercourse. “And I said no. And I left, and they told me they were going to burn all of my music. And they didn’t stop. They didn’t stop asking me, and I just froze, and I—I don’t even remember.” she explained.
“I had a total psychotic break, and for a couple of years, I was not the same girl. The way that I feel when I feel pain was how I felt after I was raped. I’ve had so many MRIs and scans where they don’t find anything. But your body remembers.” she asserted, reliving every detail.
When asked about whether self-harm crossed her mind, her reply was, “You know why it’s not good to self-harm? Because it makes you feel worse. You think you’re going to feel better because you’re showing somebody, ‘Look, I’m in pain.’ It doesn’t help.”
