LeBron James not only remains as a legendary sportsperson in NBA history but also keeps expanding his empire every other day. The basketball athlete who played for The Los Angeles Lakers for the past twenty years has built his legacy in the history of NBA sport. In addition to that, he was also known for his footprint in the entertainment industry as it accomplished dozens of endorsements and TV shows.
Indeed, his fans call him King James for a reason. Now the basketball player wants to further expand his business ventures by buying the WNBA team. The current co-owner of the team, Georgia Senator Kelly Loeffler is going through a scuffle with the Dream players as they spoke out against her in the past election and supported her opponent, Rev. Raphael Warnock who eventually became the winner. LeBron James wants to capture this opportunity and reduce the influence of Loeffler even further by buying the team.
“Think I’m gone put together an ownership group for The Dream,” he tweeted. “Who’s in?” His tweet was accompanied by a photo of the 2020 Dream players wearing “Vote Warnock” T-shirts.
