The ‘Mean Girls’ star happily announced on Instagram that she got engaged to her boyfriend Bade Shammas on Sunday. She shared cute pictures on Instagram and captioned that, “My love. My life. My family. My future. #love”. She showed her precious diamond ring in the engagement pictures. The 35-year-old actress’s finance is a financier who works with a popular US firm and is in his middle thirties. The couple was spotted together in Dubai in 2020.
Her finance worked with BNP Paribas Wealth Management as an associate. He pursued a degree from the University of South Florida in Mechanical Engineering in 2010. He also earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance degree from John H. Sykes College of Business. The pair has remained silent and never made it public about their relationship. However, The Independent reported that Lohan and Shammas have been spotted together for around two years. A source shared The Sun at the beginning of this year that their relationship was growing strong, mentioned, “Lindsay’s relationship with Bader (Shammas) is going strong. She has been with him for about two years now.”
Lohan’s mother, Dina Lohan, was overwhelmed about her oldest daughter’s engagement, expressed to ET that, “My heart is whole. For a mother, there is nothing more important than to see her children happy and loved. Her beautiful new journey begins. Love and light.”
Lohan will be shown up in Netflix’s holiday romantic comedy “Glee”.
