Pepper Spray Controversy at Lola Brooke’s Event
The excitement of Lola Brooke’s album party turned into chaos when fans thought someone used pepper spray during the party in the VIP section. One fan recounted, “I was partying in the back having a good time, and all of a sudden I could not breathe. My throat started to burn and my eyes teared up.” Another person shared, “I think too many people were trying to get too close to her in her VIP section so the situation had to be handled with mace.”
A third attendee said, “I could not breathe and had to leave, I could not take it. I honestly don’t know where it came from. One minute everyone was drinking and vibing to her music, the next minute people were coughing, choking, and gasping for air. Everybody except Lola though.” However, Brooke’s team reported saying, “We were unaware of that incident.”
Some partygoers desperately dashed to the bathroom to wash their eyes and face after the party incident with alleged pepper spray. Few of them left the event at that time. The attendees at the front of the venue were not affected despite the interruption.
