Celebrities Worst Nightmares: Makeup Disasters

While celebrities are often known for their impeccable sense of style, they are not immune to the occasional makeup disaster. From smeared lipstick to over-the-top eye shadow, there are plenty of ways for things to go wrong when getting ready for the red carpet. In some cases, celebrities have made headlines for their less-than-stellar makeup choices. For example, in 2016, actress Kirsten Dunst caused a stir when she appeared at the Cannes Film Festival with visibly smudged mascara. And last year, model Gigi Hadid was criticized for wearing what many felt was too much foundation during New York Fashion Week. Of course, not all makeup disasters are created equal. Some are simply the result of a bad beauty day, while others can be chalked up to poor judgment. No matter the cause, one thing is certain: when celebrities make a misstep with their makeup, it’s sure to be noticed!

Angelina Jolie

It’s no secret that Angelina Jolie is a style icon. For years, she has been impressing us with her red carpet looks, whether she’s wearing a gown or a simple pair of jeans. However, there was one time when she was heavily criticized for her makeup disaster. It was the premiere of HBO drama The Normal Heart where she walked the red carpet along with ex-husband Brad Pitt in 2014.

Unfortunately, Jolie’s makeup artist didn’t do a great job and she ended up with white patches on her face and neck. Needless to say, she was massively trolled for this mishap. However, we think that even though it wasn’t her best look, she still managed to pull it off with grace and style.

Tyra Banks

Although she is a renowned supermodel, makeup sometimes doesn’t work for them as well. We could witness her clumsy look in the Moth Ball held in the year 2012 where she went for a smokey eye which ended up bad. Her overdoing made her upper eyes look like she doesn’t have brows. The whole look made her awful and scary.

Billy Joel

Eyeliner has been a unisex makeup product but sometimes doing it to an extreme goes wrong. This had happened to Billy Joel who had used a red liner for his eyes. As he had applied it in his waterline it made him look infected in his eyes and he looked completely gross.

Kelly Osbourne

The singer who ensures to go elegant and chic failed to impress in the Audi event in 2012. Poor Kelly failed to choose the exact shade of her foundation and made her look too flashy and sick. Altogether she was seen as she was getting recovered from food poison.

Bradley Cooper

It’s not always the women who go disastrous sometimes the men also fail to impress. He was seen having a bad makeover at the screening of the movie Valentine’s Day. His face had too much foundation blended with a bronzer which sadly didn’t help him. Wish his makeup artist had taken efforts to blend it well.
