This secret was recently revealed by her close friend Renee Taylor. She stated that Monroe kept her body glowing by immersing in a bathtub of Vaseline. She confirmed the news when she was speaking to a source in an event.
She stated: “she came into class with Lee Strasberg one day and I just had to ask what she did, and Marilyn told me, “I rub my entire body down with Vaseline and then get into a three-hour hot bath every morning. It gives my skin a shiny glow.”
She went on to add that: “so I tried that. I almost drowned.”
Vaseline is cost-effective as it is sought after by people widely for soothing your skin. Based on Renee’s statement the product was a lucky charm for Monroe to maintain her shiny skin.
