This secret was recently revealed by her close friend Renee Taylor. She stated that Monroe kept her body glowing by immersing in a bathtub of Vaseline. She confirmed the news when she was speaking to a source in an event.
She stated: “she came into class with Lee Strasberg one day and I just had to ask what she did, and Marilyn told me, “I rub my entire body down with Vaseline and then get into a three-hour hot bath every morning. It gives my skin a shiny glow.”
She went on to add that: “so I tried that. I almost drowned.”
Vaseline is cost-effective as it is sought after by people widely for soothing your skin. Based on Renee’s statement the product was a lucky charm for Monroe to maintain her shiny skin.
The glossy skin was witnessed when the sexy Marilyn didn’t wear her underwear when she was in her sensational dress at the late President John F. Kennedy’s birthday bash in the year 1962.
This was revealed through the author Mike Nichols in the book “Life Isn’t Everything.” Further, the incident was emphasized by a popular magazine after years.
