Back at the end of 2017 Emmy award recipient and Mad Men screenwriter, Kater Gordon alleged that she was sexually abused by the series showrunner Matthew Weiner. In a brief note, she accused that Matthew had urged to see her nude while working late at night on the AMC series.
But after a year co-winning the prestigious award Kate was sent off from the popular series and has not been part of the industry since then. Now she has found a charitable organization ‘Modern Alliance’ and has assured to eradicate and end sexual abuses.
Meanwhile, Matthew has rubbished Kate’s accusations and told ‘The New York Times’ back in October 2018 that: “I have reasons I don’t believe that I said it if that makes sense, but I really don’t remember saying it.” But the ex Mad Men writer Marti Noxon openly supported Kate’s statements.
With Weiner planning to return with a series in association with Disney’s FX, the ladies are making sure to giving an opportunity to have a protected working environment so that nothing repeats like before.
The worst nightmare of all times is gender inequality, remote working environs, and sexual abuse for decades.
