When a million people cried over the famous sitcom series finale “Friends,” Matthew Perry revealed in his new memoir that he “felt nothing.”
The “Friends” star, in his new memoir, “Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing,” mentioned that he was so numb that he had no tears falling out for the series that brought him to the limelight.
“We had made 237 episodes, including this last one, called, appropriately enough, ‘The Last One.’ (Jennifer) Aniston was sobbing — after a while, I was amazed she had any water left in her entire body. Even Matt LeBlanc was crying, But I felt nothing. I couldn’t tell if that was because of the opioid buprenorphine I was taking, or if I was just generally dead inside,” wrote Perry in his memoir.
He has revealed that everyone on the set was crying and shedding tears, including Jennifer Aniston and Matt LeBlanc, but Perry felt nothing and says it may be because of his pill, which shouldn’t be taken for a long period of time.
