Megan Denise is an American actress born on May 16, 1986, in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Her father, Franklin Thomas Fox, was a parole officer, and her mother, Gloria Darlene, was divorced when she was 3 years old. She spent her childhood in nearby Rockwood. Her mother was remarried to a guy named Tony Tonachio. Then, Fox and her sister were raised by her mother and stepfather. It’s been said that Megan lived with her mother until she had sufficient money to sustain herself.

2001–2004: Megan Denise Fox made her acting debut in the family film, “Holiday in the Sun,” in 2001, followed by numerous supporting roles in both films and television, such as the Teenage Drama Queen – a teen musical comedy Confessions in 2004.
2004-2006: She played a starring role in 2004-2006 for the film “ABC sitcom Hope and Faith”.
2007-2009: Her role in the blockbuster action movie, Transformers, was as Mikaela Banes in 2007. In 2009, she acted in “Revenge of the Fallen,” and she performed as the titular character in the horror comedy movie “Jennifer’s Body” the same year.
2014: Megan Denise Fox acted in the superhero action film, “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” as April O’Neil.
2016-2017: Its sequel, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows (2016), starred Reagen Lucas in the 5th and 6th seasons of the Fox sitcom New Girl in the years 2016-2017.

Megan Fox’s first book of poetry was named “Pretty Boys Are Poisonous,” published by Simon & Shuster’s Gallery Books. The 176-page book contains over 70 poems. It is a poetic journey that explores the multiple qualities of relationships, presenting readers with a remarkable perspective on love, heartbreak, and personal growth. She mentioned in the intro that this book is inspired by “previously unspoken feelings of isolation, torment, self-harm, desperation, longing, restlessness, rage, and general anguish”. She also narrates the Audible audio version of the book, which runs for 38 minutes.
