Rumors spread around the world as Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, wasn’t extended an invite to the Queen’s Funeral purposefully by the royal members of the family.
The royal family members, Prince William, Prince Andrew, Prince Edward, and his wife Sophie, the Countess of Wessex, arrived at Balmoral Castle after their jet touched down in Aberdeen, Scotland.
King Charles arrived earlier on Thursday with his wife, Queen Consort Camilla, and sister, Princess Anne.
According to royal experts, Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, was not invited to attend the Queen’s funeral. It was planned for Harry, 37, and Meghan, 41, to attend the WellChild Awards in London. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex postponed their appearance when it was revealed earlier that Queen Elizabeth’s health had deteriorated.
The duke landed in Scotland after the Queen’s death was announced publicly. Harry arrived alone at Balmoral Castle in a black mourning suit.
In 2020, Harry and Meghan abdicated their royal titles. The following year their interview with Ophra caused more controversies.
