Meghan Markle announced her new project, American Riviera Orchard, on Instagram by uploading an official video. The bio line says, “By Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex Established 2024.”
The video shows her cooking in the kitchen, and picking the flowers with the background music of “ I Wish You Love” by Nancy Wilson. Her new launch focuses on daily essentials, such as home decor, food, and more.
The logo for Markle’s brand refers to Montecito, the neighboring country of Sussex. The name, “American Riviera” represents the place Santa Barbara, where the couple lives with their two children. Santa Barbara is often cherished for its lavish beauty, food, and wine culture.
Markle had already leaked the social-media return news in August 2022, saying, “Do you want to know a secret? I am getting back on Instagram.” In 2017, the Duchess had closed “The Tig” – a platform where she shared her lifestyle and experiences through her blogs. The name was chosen by Markle because of an inspiration by her favorite wine, “Tignanello.”
