Mel Gibson was all over Twitter the same time Chicken Run was out on June 23rd thinking that both were associated.
Brit animation powerhouse Aardman was busy collaborating with the online streamer Netflix to release his next part on family-friendly 2000 blockbuster where Mel had voiced over the Rooster Rocky after sarcastic comments he made on Winona Ryder became a sensation.
In a recent chat, Ryder stated that ‘Gibson had asked if she was an “oven dodger” at a party in the mid-’90s.’ To this Gibson’s sources said that it was “100 percent untrue.” And this is not the first time Winona is alleging as she had earlier done it 2010 and due to this Mel had got his Hollywood cancellation post an anti-Semitic rage for a drunk and drive case filed against him in 2006.
Though his star status faded ever since his films like Braveheart, Mad Max and Lethal Weapon, Gibson still managed to do good market.
Further, Phil Hunt from Head Gear Films stated that: “He’s still definitely got currency,” which has enabled to fund Mel’s films. “He made really bad comments. But we’ve known about them for a very long time. He still has value.”
