The documentary of Miss Americana has been well received and appreciated amidst fans and also celebrities. One such celebrity who has been all praises is none other than Mindy Kaling.
Now that Mindy is a Swift fan she has stated that: “I absolutely loved #MissAmericana, the @taylorswift13 documentary,” the Office alum, 40, tweeted on Thursday, March 12. “I loved her music but now I love her (that’s weird to say about someone I’ve never met).”
She also added that: “If you make your own art, if you’ve ever been underestimated, if you love and worry about your mom, it’s a must-see!”
Besides, this is such a surprise that Mindy has revealed her liking for the 30 yr old pop sensation. Earlier in 2015, Mindy had a tough time to choose between Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus and Nicki Minaj for her Project alum when she was on ‘What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.’
She then decided to go with Taylor and said jokingly: “I’m team Taylor and I was miffed not to be in [her] ‘Bad Blood’ [music video], and I sometimes lie to people and say that I was in ‘Bad Blood.’”
Further, the Late Night Actress had stated 2 yrs back on how she desired to be related to the Grammy Award Winner and stated that: “I wish Taylor Swift and I were the youngest and oldest sisters, respectively, of a large Jane Austen-y type family.”
Taylor had screened her documentary at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival in January. The movie was then streamed in Netflix post the release.
