Officials have extended their search to find Naya although they are still to find the star that went missing on July 8^th, 2020 in her trip to Lake Piru with her son.

Speaking about the investigation Ventura County Sheriff said: “In today’s search for Naya Rivera, cabins and outbuildings in the surrounding area will be checked once again, as well as the shoreline.” “This has been part of the ongoing search effort since her disappearance on Wednesday afternoon. Boat crews continue to scan the lake.”

Further Sgt. Shannon stated that a search around the lake was made but “nothing has changed.”

“They’re not occupied. Nothing came of it,” Shannon said to People Magazine, describing that the wider focus of the search “was the shoreline.”

“They were just doing the shoreline to make sure nothing has changed. There were a lot of folks that were talking on social media about, ‘Oh, check the cabins. Maybe she’s there, maybe she’s hanging out,’ ” King says, noting that since they had “extra” search and rescue personnel on Sunday, they “did go to a couple of the cabins that were on the north end of the lake, that’s all that’s out there, and nothing came of it.”

However, at this time the officials have no explanation to think that Naya has ‘ever “left the water”.’

“There’s no evidence to say she left the water. It appears to be 100 percent just a tragic drowning,” Shannon adds.

As the search keeps continuing officials will keep ‘scanning sonar, dive boat crews and rescue group’ for “visual surface checks” of the river.

Briefing on the situation of Lake Piru which has made it difficult to find Shannon says “it’s not like typical waters, which are crystal clear; this is murky, cold lake water.”

Late Naya Rivera Will Appear One Last Time on Netflix

The late actress Naya Rivera will be seen onscreen in the streaming device Netflix on July 31^st for the last time as per sources.

The Glee star and singer are said to appear posthumously in the 3^rd Season of Sugar Rush which revolves around a “relentlessly fast-paced competition that challenges bakers to create treats that look beautiful and taste amazing against the clock.”

Rivera had earlier shot the episode as a guest judge in L.A. prior to the production stopped due to the ongoing pandemic. She will appear along with a professional panel of chefs Candace Nelson, and Adriano Zumbo and the presenter of the show Hunter March as they judge emerging bakers to win the competition.

Post Naya’s demise the streaming device had a tough time finding out a way to use her footage. But after discussing with the late actress family via her rep Gladys Gonzalez Netflix has planned to go ahead with the episode.

The episode will see a heartfelt message in honor of Rivera at the start.

With Ryan still not out of the tragic incident, he has finally broken his silence.

The 37 yr old posted a heartfelt tribute to his late former wife Naya Rivera with whom he has a 4 yr old son Josey. 33 yr old Naya went missing when she unexpectedly drowned in Lake Piru when she went for a trip with her 4 yr old.

Later the Ventura County officials had found her body on July 13^th and she was confirmed dead.

To this Ryan shared along with a picture of Rivera and their son that: “This is so unfair…there’s not enough words to express the hole left in everyone’s hearts. I can’t believe this is life now. I don’t know if I’ll ever believe it. You were just here… We were just in the back swimming with Josey the day before. Life just isn’t fair.”

“I don’t know what to say… I’m thankful for our times and our journey that brought us together and gave us the sweetest and kindest smart little boy we could ever hope for. I remember sometimes you used to get annoyed at me: ‘Ryan can you stop snap chatting!’ Haha. I’m glad I didn’t listen to you because I have hundreds and probably thousands of snaps and videos that Josey will have forever and know his momma loved him more than life, and how much fun we had together as he was growing up,” he added.

“Life is all about good times and bad times but with Josey, it makes the bad a little less so because a part of you will always be with us. He’ll never forget where he came from. We miss you. We will always love you. Love you Meep,” stated Ryan who was wedded to Naya from 2014 to 2018.

“To everyone that reached out and I haven’t had a chance to or just didn’t get back to you…thank you all for the overwhelming love and support you’ve sent our way. Naya Rivera Last Footage with Her Son Revealed by Cops

The final footage of Naya Rivera has been released by the cops where she is seen going to Lake Piru along with her 4 yr old son.

The star is said to be missing or dead post her son Josey was left alone in the boat that she had booked for a trip in the lake that is 56 miles north to central Los Angeles.

The CCTV video was released by Ventura County Sheriff Department where Naya is seen stepping out from her car prior to getting into the boat and going on the trip which turned into a nightmare.

Almost 100 of them have been looking out for the 33 yr old which is stated to be a rescue operation by the cops with the assumption that Naya is drowned.

Meanwhile, when her son was recovered from the boat he said to the cops that his mom jumped into the water and never turned. Naya’s life jacket was left in the boat.

The latest footage saw Naya and her son out from their Mercedes holding a backpack and safety gear which is assumed to help them during their trip. Her son is seen walking fast towards her as they were heading to the pontoon to get into the boat.

When they near the boat they are welcomed by an employee who gives them the keys for their rental.

The climate was bright and warm with the water precisely still as the boat moved in the lake.

The final clip had the boat moving towards the mountainous horizon prior to disappearing. The authorities were alarmed around 4.48 pm on Wednesday where Josey was seen sleeping in the boat and Naya missing.

Sgt Donoghue stated that the finding may prolong for weeks and there might be a point where she might be missing forever.

Former Husband of Late Naya Rivera Ryan Dorsey ‘Can’t Imagine’ Raising His Son Josey Without Her!

As the death of Naya Rivera has shaken the hearts of her loved ones, her former husband Ryan Dorsey is still not out from the shock.

Sources close to him said: “Ryan has barely slept,” and “It’s just a nightmare. Although he wasn’t with Naya, it’s Josey’s mom. Josey needs his mom.”

Earlier on Monday officials found Naya’s body post she went missing for 5 days. The star had gone for a boating trip with her 4 yr old son Josey in Lake Piru in Ventura County, California.

Though finding the 4 yr old alone officials said he was “in good health,” and he was handed over to his father.

Sources also added that: “Ryan can’t imagine raising Josey without Naya. It’s the most devastating situation.” Ryan had tied the knot with Naya in 2014 and ended their relationship in 2018.

Officials also think that Naya had drowned safeguarding Josey.

“We know from speaking with her son, that he and Naya swam in the lake together at some point during their journey,” Ventura County Sheriff Bill Ayub said at a news conference. “It was during that time that her son described being helped into the boat by Naya, who boosted him onto the deck from behind. He told investigators that he looked back and saw her disappear under the surface of the water.”

“The idea perhaps being that the boat started drifting, it was unanchored, and that she mustered enough energy to get her son back onto the boat, but not enough to save herself,” Ayub said.

Prior to finding her body, Ryan was in Lake Piru.

Glee Star Naya Rivera Dead! Confirmed by Cops!

The popular actress from Glee, Naya Rivera passes away at 33.

Naya who disappeared on Wednesday post leaving her 4 yr old son Josey in a lone boat in Lake Piru in South California was found dead.

The news was confirmed by Ventura County Sheriff authorities when they found a dead body in the lake and when checked it was admitted that is Rivera.

At the live media conference Sheriff, Bill Ayub said the officials are “confident” it is Rivera with the physical characteristics and condition.

They also added there were no traces of suicide or foul play. Cops stated that Josey saw his mom missing after she put him on the boat.

The police had received a call from a boater at 4.48 pm on Wednesday who saw a vessel wandering in the reservoir.

As per reports, Naya hired a pontoon around 1 pm to take her 4 yr old to the lake. The child was seen donning a life jacket whereas Rivera’s was still in the boat.

Talking to the media post finding the body Captain Eric Bushow stated: “This is an area we’ve been searching really hard because we believe that’s where she was last seen in the water.”

And as per sources, the 4 yr old’s daunting words were that his mom had “jumped into the water but didn’t come back up”.

Further, Josey is said to be safe and is handed over to his family members.

Post Naya went missing it was stated that a team of helicopters, divers, and drones were positioned at the lake to look for the actress.

Captain Eric Buschow from the sheriff’s office stated: “There’s a lot of challenges in a reservoir this size, at times with visibility.”

He also said: “We’re going on the belief that she did go in the water, and we’ve not been able to locate her. This may well be a case of drowning.”
