Never Have I Ever: Unknown Facts

Never Have I Ever is a Netflix series that narrates the life of a 15-year-old Indian-American girl named Devi Vishwakumar, who is trying to navigate the ups and downs of high school while dealing with the recent loss of her father.

The show is co-created by Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher, and it draws heavily on Kaling’s own experiences growing up as a first-generation Indian-American.

The lead character, Devi Vishwakumar, is played by newcomer Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, who was chosen out of over 15,000 audition tapes.
