After Robert Pattinson was cast as the Batman, a fresh face emerged in the DC universe.
Zoe Kravitz, famous for starring in Big Little Lies, Fantastic Beats and Mad Max has left many scratching their heads after being casted as Selina Kyle, alter ego of Catwoman in the upcoming The Batman movie. The movie is headed by Matt Reeves as he tweeted a gif of Zoe Kravitz.

Zoe bagged the role, beating other competitors like Zazie Beetz, Eiza Gonzalez, Ana de Armas, Ella Balinska and Alicia Vikander. This is a sweet chance for the 30 year old Zoe, to prove her mettle in a superhero movie. It’s not easy to keep up with actresses like Halle Berry and Anne Hathaway and many others who had previously played Catwoman.
It’s also been rumored that Jonah Hill might play the villain in the movie.
Fun fact: Zoe Kravitz has already played Catwoman in The Lego Batman Movie by lending her voice. Cool right?
The Batman will hit theatres on June 25, 2021.
