A video clip from a New York Landlady has created a stir after she has admitted of snatching packages from her tenants if they do not pay their rents.
The woman named Abbe Awosanya shared it in Tik Tok on Saturday and captioned it saying: “’My tenant is late on rent and is avoiding me but has money to order. So I take all their packages until they pay up.”
So, her full name is Abimbola Awosanya. Here's her LinkedIn page with all her work details: https://t.co/1bRiiHJMMp

“I’m so Petty,” she added in the clip with the DripReports Sketchers track playing in the background.
Abbe’s profile stated that she is a ‘real estate person, Senior Manager of Operations in IT and interior designer’ and has been followed by 6k people.
Further, the video was viewed by 200,000 people and went on to get more as it was posted on other social media handles.
One of the users tweeted saying: “Landlords are a menace to society,” to the video where Abbe was seen flipping an Amazon package in the side and making some dance moves at her apartment.
The next day it was viewed by 5.3 million people and in her post, many slammed Abbe.
One of them said: “What if it’s their baby’s formula? They have $20 but not $800 in rent,” and another wrote: “It’s ok to be late during a pandemic, it’s illegal to withhold packages.”
When one lady commented stating: “late rent vs a federal offense,” Abbe replied ‘that it was her own package’ and ‘Thanks for the concern. All my mail but it’s nice that y’all only care about renters like landlords don’t have bills.’
But then she stated that it was just for fun and said: “Honestly, in the past, I had this issue with other tenants and I wished I could do this to them because they were blatantly ignoring me,” Awosanya continued in a comment to Buzzfeed News. “Nothing to do with current tenants. If my tenants told me they couldn’t pay, I would understand. My tenants have been late before.”
She continued saying: “Compassion should be for everyone because we are all going through the pandemic together.”
