Ben Roethlisberger the popular quarterback of Pittsburgh has been charged with $5000 as he was caught red-handed with the Apple watch during his big game against Cincinnati Bengals.
As per NFL regulations, it is restricted to have any gadgets during the game or when present in the sidelines. This is because these tech-based items can send texts if you just have or wear it. When it comes to Apple it has the option to transmit iMessages to people nearby who also use an Apple gadget.
Seems he was not aware since his spouse had dressed him as he couldn’t lift his right arm elbow post his surgery in September. Besides, there are speculations that “Odell Beckham Jr. from Cleveland Browns was not sued for wearing a swanky Richard Mille $350,000 watch in the first week.”
But it is stated the association had spoken about it and Odell was determined to wear it. In the case of Ben, he might have conversed with someone through it which is not allowed as per the NFL regulations.
It is also said this accusation is because of the lack of notice he got.
