The former one direction singer Niall Horen has told that he fails to maintain his celebrity image and says he is “just a normal fella.”
The 26 yr old pop star spoke to Fault magazine stating that: “I’m bad at being a celebrity probably because I don’t like to think of myself as a celebrity.”
Niall who had recently released his second single album “Heartbreak Weather” said that writing songs enable him to analyze his thoughts on relationships.
He said: “I’m a bad communicator in relationships. I struggle to talk about things,” and I don’t like to let things build up in me and songwriting does help get it out but it can happen too late.”
His new album has songs like “Small Talk and No Judgement.” Just like his former bandmate Harry Styles made with ‘Fine Line’, he has also found the theme to heartbreak in the record.
Further, he made sure to do music in a unique way where a blend of complex feelings is implemented. He stated that: “I think when you make a breakup album, you can either write a bunch of songs that make you feel sorry for yourself or you can play around with it and make songs for all the emotions that you go through because it’s not all upsetting.”
“With any relationship, there are fun moments and there are days when you feel like you’re in a music video with the rains pouring outside as you watch crying through the window. “
“I think when you go through a breakup you process the whole relationship and think back to amazing nights times together and the bad ones and I wanted that for this album.”
The singer also told that he is “proud” of his achievements and for being honest to himself.
Besides, Horan says he gets inspired by pop sensations like Billie Eilish who has given a new definition to pop.
