In an episode of “the checkup with Dr. David Agus,” Nick Cannon spoke about his late son Zen and explained why he and Alyssa Scott did not want Zen to undergo chemotherapy.

Cannon said that Zen was initially healthy. However, when Zen was around two months old, his parents noted his large head and strange breathing patterns, which they believed to be symptoms of asthma. However, when they brought Zen to the hospital, Nick and his partner were very shocked to learn that he had a brain tumor.

“He was healthy, active, always smiling. “We [also] noticed his head was a little larger, [but] all my kids have big heads. I was a big-headed baby. They did a lot of tests. They didn’t let him leave the hospital.And so you could imagine you think you’re taking your son in to get a checkup for — at the worst, I was thinking asthma, you know? And to know that he gets diagnosed with brain cancer, that was a shock,” said Nick in the show.  

Unfortunately, Zen was found to have an extremely uncommon and aggressive kind of brain cancer. The doctors told Nick that Zen was counting down the days and that he “could live to 3 or 4 years old”. Instead of putting Zen to chemotherapy, Nick and Scott chose to give him a quality life.

“From that point, they pretty much told me that best case scenario, your son could live to 3 or 4 years old. So instantly when I heard that, I thought quality of life. I wanted him to have the best existence he could have,” said Cannon.

A new family member is soon to be welcomed by Nick Cannon. Alyssa Scott uploaded two images of herself with the singer in a hot tub while they were both nude on her Instagram page. 

Nick can be seen putting his hand on the model’s growing baby belly in the first image as she stands naked in a bathtub. Nick can be seen in the second post kissing Alyssa Scott’s growing baby bump.

The model captioned her post as “a MIRACLE & a BLESSING.”

Alyssa has a daughter from a previous relationship and is expecting her third child—the second with Nick.

Zen, the couple’s first child, was born in 2021; however, he passed away from brain cancer at the age of five months.

With Abby De La Rosa, with whom he already has twin sons Zion and Zillion, Nick is also expecting a child.

He now has a total of 10 kids from six different women.

Nick had a great time with his adorable newborn baby girl Onyx. He wrapped her on his shoulder and shared the sweetest picture of his ninth kid, in a black and white image. 

“All in a day’s work!! Onyx has the right idea! It’s a wrap! Meditation and Rejuvenation align the Spirit!” he captioned it on Instagram. 

Cannon and Cole, 40, shared the news of Onyx’s arrival last month.

“Once again Today I am in Awe of the Devine Feminine! God has given me and @MissLanishaCole the privilege of hosting an Angel here on earth. I vow to protect, provide, guide, and love this child to the best of my abilities,” Cannon mentioned. 

At the time of onyx’s arrival, Cannon added, “As for me, if you are truly concerned during this time of Spiritual Warfare, my inner struggles with self, mental wellness, and physical health concerns… Just continue to pray for my entire family that God will grant us Peace that surpasses all Understanding and me. 🙏🏾❤️”

Recently the singer welcomed his 10th baby with Brittany Bell. The couple named the sweetest baby with a unique name Messiah Rise Cannon. 

Nick wrote, “Thank you to friends, family, and everyone who made this spiritual celebration of life possible.”

“Another Blessing” – Nick Cannon with his Tenth baby “Rise”

Just two weeks before, Nick Cannon welcomed his 9th baby with LaNisha Cole. Now the singer welcomed his tenth baby with Brittany Bell. The couple named the sweetest baby with a unique name Messiah Rise Cannon. 

Nick wrote, “Thank you to friends, family, and everyone who made this spiritual celebration of life possible.” 

Celebrating his “fellow little Libra,” Cannon did it with joy. One can assume that he wants to have at least one child for each sign of the zodiac. Cannon stated that Rise weighed 10 pounds at birth.

Along with a very beautiful video posted, Nick added to Instagram and mentioned, “Another Blessing!!! As my journey on this planet becomes more and more remarkable and unfathomable, all I can do is thank God and continue to ask the Highest to order my steps. He has given me stewardship and dominion over a family dynamic that to some is unimaginable. But more importantly, he has blessed me with loving individuals to guide me with care through this purposeful life. I am so indebted and grateful for the matriarch energy in my time of need.”

It is noted that Nick’s 11th baby is expected soon.

“I vow to protect, provide, guide, and love this child to the best of my abilities,” Addressing the infant child Onyx Ice, Nick Cannon with former Price Is Right model LaNisha Cole welcomed on September 14th. 

“Once again, today I am in awe of the Devine Feminine!” Cannon, 41, added a statement to a black-and-white picture of him holding his newborn daughter posted on Instagram. Cole had just given birth.

He also added the following, 

“God has given me and @MissLanishaCole the privilege of hosting an Angel here on earth.”

“We all learn so much from these angels we call children,”

 “I am learning that it is not the limited amount of time we have on this planet but it’s the limited amount of love that is the issue. And I promise to love this little girl with all my heart, regardless what anyone says…”

Cole, 40, also uploaded a photo of her daughter to Instagram along with a heart-touching video praising Cannon for his newborn girl’s smile.

In less than a year in 2021, Cannon fathered four children with three different women.
