“No Time to Die” to Release Postponed to November 2020!

Mar 11, 2020

The latest James Bond flick “No Time to Die” release is postponed from April to November this year as there has been a global health phobia on the outbreak of Corona Virus.

The producers of the magnum opus Michael Wilson and Barbara Broccoli from MGM confirmed via twitter that: “after careful consideration and thorough evaluation of the global theatrical marketplace,” the movie will be premiered in November.

Due to the deadly effect of coronavirus the promotion of the movie has been called off in China, South Korea, and Japan. Further, its release in Hong Kong was also postponed.

Besides, there are worries that corona would widely affect the film at the box office globally as few countries have banned crowds at common places.

The previous sequel of James Bond “Spectre” had a huge collection worldwide with $881 million especially 15.5% approx from the U.K, 8.3% in Germany and 9.7% in China as per reports.

One of the analysts stated that: “November has been the traditional home for Bond in the modern era so it makes total sense to move ‘No Time To Die’ to that new date,” “And it’s certainly in the best interest of the movie, given the current situation, to get creative and do what needs to be done to ensure the best outcome for the film and for the fans who will just have to wait a bit longer to get a hold of James Bond.”

At present, the screening of the theatres all over China has been closed and it is not sure when it will be reopened. Until then it will be a tough time for American movies that are set to release huge movies.
