Oliver Stone says that he’s wasn’t interested produce movies!

Post his novel ‘Chasing the Light’ release, Oliver Stone was seen in a chat with Bill Maher on Friday in his show virtually to share about his career in Hollywood and the hurdles he faced with financing and divisive issues in the past years.

When Maher read a few lines from the novel like the icing on the cake which dropped in July “in one big pulp” stressed that making films is quite a tough business. And Stone added that it’s a difficult task to do movies now as the story has to be precise. He also said that a few of his stories are a little contentious and he might not surpass if he begins as a director now.

The 73 yr old emphasized that getting financial aids for his movies has been a major obstacle and said that one of his films like Platoon was not produced by American productions. “[It was] so frustrating during those years,” reminisced Oliver of his era.

Remembering back his days he said he has a series of projects in the “pipeline” which was not made into movies like Martin Luther King Jr.
