Orlando Bloom proposed to Katy Perry in ways most women can only dream of!

Popstar and Queen of hearts, Katy Perry got engaged to Orlando Bloom on Valentine’s Day and took to Instagram to announce it.

The ring has a center gemstone, resembling a vivid pink diamond, surrounded by eight round diamonds in a floral pattern. It was a 2-2.5 carat diamond set in yellow gold. As per estimates, the price of the sparkler could range anywhere between $500,000-$2,000,000 or even more.

It is evident that Bloom picked out the flower-shaped ring himself because he wanted something “very exciting and different” that would fit perfectly with Katy’s personality

Also, Bloom had sought the permission of Katy Perry parents before taking the bold move. He apparently chose to be old-fashioned and took into a lot of thought before coming up with the idea. He took his sweet time, waited for the right moment before surprising her on V-day.

According to a source, “Katy and Orlando have been looking forward to this day for a very long time and they are over the moon to embark on their lifetime commitment,” the source said. “They talked about an engagement even before their breakup in 2017 but Katy wasn’t ready. She just wasn’t ready at first but soon after some time away, she knew Orlando was the right man for her life.”

Orlando was previously married to Miranda Kerr and has an 8-year old son with her.
