Paul Rudd, the ever charming actor revealed in an episode of “Heart Breakfast” that he felt “strange” to be the part of the all time famous sit-com series “Friends.” The Ant-Man played the significant part of Mike Hannigan in the television series “Friends.”  “It also felt strange. I was in that last episode and I just thought … ‘I shouldn’t be here … I’m getting like a front row seat to things I’m not supposed to see,’” said Paul Rudd in the interview. 

He also mentioned how much joy and pleasure he had while working with the “Friends” cast and crew. He also mentioned how emotional the final episode was for Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer, and Lisa Kudrow.

“It was really fun and they were great. The whole thing was a bit surreal … to be a part of that. I never knew that I was going to be in as many [episodes] that I was. They were all crying, it was all emotional. And I just was like, ‘Woah’ … I felt very privileged, but I also was like ‘Uh – I just want to sit back here and not get in the way,” revealed Paul.

The American actor and film producer Paul Rudd has been announced People’s Sexiest Man Alive for 2021. The 52-year-old actor won the title in The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Tuesday night on 9 November. During an interview with People, Rudd said he wants his friends to give him “so much grief” because of his new title, but that he’s going to “lean into it hard”. “I’m going to own this,” he said.

The actor said, “I do have an awareness, enough to know that when people hear that I’d be picked for this, they would say, ‘What?'” he added, “This is not false humility. There are so many people that should get this before me.”

Despite the Sexiest Man Alive Title, Paul Rudd is famously recognized for his impressive roles in Ant-Man, The Avengers: Endgame, Clueless, Anchorman, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, and the sitcom Friends.

He declared that his wife of 18 years, Julie, was the only person to whom he revealed in advance.

He stated, “But you know she was very sweet about it. After some giggling and shock, she responded, ‘Oh, they got it right.’ And that was very sweet. She was probably not telling the truth, but what’s she going to say?”

Rudd’s first show was NBC’s classic sitcom, “Friends.” where he portrayed the role of Mike Hannigan, who married Phoebe in the show.
