The Prince of Wales has contracted the deadly virus from a test taken on March 12 and is currently quarantined in Scotland. The 71-year old Royal has been attending public events earlier this month. The office has confirmed that Charles is showing only mild symptoms and is doing well otherwise. Buckingham Palace has also released a statement that the Queen hasn’t acquired the infection and is in good health.
Charles’ wife Camilla has also been tested for the novel Coronavirus and was found to be negative. So far, over 9000 people in the U.K have been affected by the pandemic with a death toll of 465. The government has been taking rigorous steps in increasing the number of tests conducted and so far around 4,144 have recovered from the infection.
