Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, accepted The Ripple of Hope Award on 6th December, at the gala by the Robert F Kennedy Human Rights(RFKHR) organization in New York. The award honors exceptional leaders across fields like business, advocacy, and entertainment. 

The pair were recognized for their noticeable work on Racial justice and Mental health ‘to protect and advance equity, justice, and human rights.’ The other accolade recipients along with the couple are  Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and late NBA star Bill Russell(civil rights figurehead). 

Meghan Markle was stunningly gorgeous in a white off-shoulder dress by renowned  Nicolas Ghesquière for Louis Vuitton. She also completed her amazing look with an aquamarine ring from Princess Diana’s collection.

Kerry Kennedy, president of Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights, and the seventh child of Robert F. Kennedy, specified that it is because of the ‘moral courage’ the royal pair is among the 2022 recipients of the award.

‘They went to the oldest institution in UK history and told them what they were doing wrong, that they couldn’t have structural racism within the institution; that they could not maintain a misunderstanding about mental health,’ said Kennedy about Harry and Meghan.

She also continued, “They knew that if they did this there would be consequences, that they would be ostracized, they would lose their family, their position within this structure, and that people would blame them for it. They have done it anyway because they believed they couldn’t live with themselves if they didn’t question this authority.”

“Archie, is it fun?” Meghan said, to which Archie responds, “Fun?” Then Meghan repeats, “Fun!”

Archie even gave a special message to listeners — with help from his parents.

“After me. Ready? Happy…” Harry said, to which Archie repeats, “Happy.”

Meghan and Harry then said, “New…”

And Archie completes the message: “New Year” — and his parents cheer as Archie giggles.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry happily signed off with a thanking song “that means so much to us.”

” ‘This Little Light of Mine” played at the very end of our wedding . . . while we were walking down the steps of the church,” Meghan continued. “It was the music that we wanted playing when we started our lives together. Prince Harry concluded, “The message of this song is one we hold so dearly. It’s about using the power we each have within us to make this world a better place.”

Meghan, 39, and Prince Harry, 36, kicked off Archewell Audio by asking high-profile friends and change-makers such as Elton John, Tyler Perry, Stacey Abrams, James Corden, and more to reflect on 2020.

“As we come to the end of this year and look to the future, let’s hold onto the lessons we’ve learned about how important it is to take care of one another, and how meaningful our connections are — even when they’re physically impossible,” Prince Harry said.

Meghan continued, “We thought, what if we can bring together some people that inspire us – people that we admire . . . and get their thoughts on what they learned from 2020. So we asked a few friends and a lot of other folks: activists, poets.”

“Athletes, writers,” Harry chimed in.

“Teachers, and artists – people from all walks of life,” Meghan said.

“We wanted to know what they’ll remember about this year, how they’d explain it to future generations, what they learned about themselves and what gives them hope,” Meghan said. “Their responses have given us a lot to think about. And it all came back to one thing: to the power of connection.”

The once royal couple Prince Harry and Meghan have been criticized very badly now by Lady Colin Campbell the royal writer who has just released her latest book on “Meghan and Harry: The Real Story.”

The book that just got released today in the U.K has gone to an extent to say that Prince Harry is “pathetic” as he had left several lifetime associations with people due to Meghan.

As per sources, Campbell says that there were speculations amidst the royals when Meghan had asked whether she can wear a white dress for her wedding instead of cream which was suggested by the palace authorities.

As a consequence Prince Philip called the duchess as “Tungsten” due to her firmness and even more as she had a sense of self-importance which was referred to as “rock-solid.”

Speaking on this Lady Colin stated that: “I go into everything… and all’s been minutely vetted by lawyers. I have spoken to courtiers, Romeos, princes, princesses, relations, friends in detail. Knowing she intended to marry him from word Go, they were desperate to talk.”

One of the elite socialites in the country Campbell was very close to Princess Diana and was never mincing words when it came to criticism on the Duchess of Sussex.  She continued saying: “She’s a total opportunist,” and “She knew in advance she’d embark on commercial ventures, which royalty strictly forbids. She now has what she wanted — a millionaire’s life in Hollywood. She’s caused Harry to lose most of his friends.”
