Queen Elizabeth extended her royal presence from the living quarters of Buckingham Palace to the Instagram feed on 7th May after the 92-year-old shared her first picture about her family history.
“Today, as I visit the Science Museum I was interested to discover a letter from the Royal Archives, written in 1843 to my great-great-grandfather Prince Albert,” the Queen wrote in her post.
The Queen shared the detailed post early afternoon in London.
“It seems fitting to me that I publish this Instagram post, at the Science Museum which has long championed technology, innovation and inspired the next generation of inventors,” she said.
The post was shared from the royal account, with her initials signed below.
As much as we’d love to take a sneak peek into her life as the most majestic person we could all agree with, it might still take some time for her royal highness to pose for selfies 😛
