Quibi, the Short-Form Streaming Service, Gets Launched

The short-form platform that truncates and telecasts show up to a maximum of 10 minutes was launched on Monday.

Now may not be the right time to launch a new streaming service, but Quibi is confident about emerging as Netflix’s rival. The short-form platform that truncates and telecasts show up to a maximum of 10 minutes was launched on Monday.

Designed to view on mobile phones, series and movies can be streamed in both portrait and landscape mode. The subscription cost per month is $4.99 (with ads), and $7.99 if you want to stream shows without advertisements.

Quibi is a new attempt in streaming smaller versions of your favorite programs. The app has received mixed reviews as of now and would take months or probably years to analyze if it has succeeded in its attempt. Flipped, Fierce Queens, Dismantled, Gayme Show, Murder House Flip, etc are some of the programs worth-watching on Quibi.
