Robin Roberts and Amber Laign Are Married After 18 Years of Dating

Robin Roberts, the Good Morning America co-host, has been dating Amber Laign, a massage therapist and businesswoman, for about 18 years.  Both are cancer survivors.

On September 8, 2023, the duo had their wedding ceremony in the backyard of their home. They were both dressed in long white gowns during the ceremony. 

Roberts posted some of her wedding pictures on Instagram and also stated, “An intimate, magical wedding ceremony in our backyard followed by a joyous reception… ohhhh the dancing!!” Roberts’ pastor was the person who officiated the ceremony.

After Amber Laign and Robin Roberts tied the knot, they were congratulated by their fans and celebrities. 

In January 2023, Robin Roberts announced on Good Morning America that she and her long-time partner, Amber Laign, were going to get married. And, Robin Roberts’ wedding announcement came true on September 8, 2023!

You might have heard that Amber Laign is the proud founder of “Plant Juice Oils,” which is a natural product company. In 2021, she was diagnosed with breast cancer, and Roberts cared for her during her treatment. It was the other way around in 2007, when Roberts herself had to undergo treatment for cancer. She was able to recover from cancer, but in 2012, she was diagnosed with a rare blood disorder. She had to undergo a bone marrow transplant as a part of her treatment procedure for the rare disorder.
