Ace actor Sam Neill Just did a small change to his “Event Horizon” outfit and it depicts a world of difference.
One of the twitter users @Jayfuz reposted the classic piece from the upcoming 1997 flick which is coming this week.
The user stated: “Today I learned: For the Sci-Fi Horror film ‘Event Horizon’ Sam Neill requested that the Australian flag on his character’s uniform remove the Union Flag from the corner.”
This is indeed so. And I wouldn't do it any differently today . https://t.co/sz1guYVlM1

‘The Union Jack’ the flag of the U.K that was seen on the left top of the Australian flag was changed with an original flag “the way he thought it should look in 2047.”
Well, there had been arguments to take Union Jack off from the Australian flag for years now. And facts say that it denotes Australia as a British colony. Further, the native leaders state that the flag, on the whole, does not represent the country’s past or history rather denotes as a sign of domination.
The actor admitted that he urges the change and “And I wouldn’t do it any differently today,” he added.
Both the tweets were liked 200,000 times.
The movie which has Lawrence Fishburne is based in 2047 and sees a group of astronauts unwinding a scary black hole in their space rescue mission. Neill stars as the Australian designer who designs the Event Horizon spacecraft.
As per an article the movie’s creator Paul Anderson had requested his actors to don their respective country flags in their costumes.
