Talking to Parade Scarlett Johansson remembered the days when she kick-started her career as per sources.
She said: “Since a very young age, I’ve been rejected constantly … the best call you can receive is after you are rejected for something and then you get it. You appreciate it more. I’ve basically made a career out of being the second choice.”
Though the “Avengers” star was a household name with her character as Black Widow she opted only after Emily Blunt dropped the role due to date issues.
Earlier the Academy nominee shared her disappointment for the characters she had to reject and she also exited from the film “Rub and Tug” after speculations that only a transgender has to do the trans role.
During that period she spoke to a magazine stating: “You know, as an actor, I should be allowed to play any person, or any tree, or any animal because that is my job and the requirements of my job. There are a lot of social lines being drawn now, and a lot of political correctness is being reflected in art.”
Scarlett johansson upcoming film is “Black Widow” which is set to hit the screens on November 6th, 2020.
