The statement sent shockwaves when the Head of staff at White House Mick Mulvaney said that President Trump has suspended the support that he had earlier asked from Ukraine as “quid pro quo has demanded to investigate Democrats in the nation.
When everyone was shocked, Sean Hannity made a statement that: “What is Mulvaney even talking about?” Hannity said on his radio show in comments posted online by Media Matters. “I just think he’s dumb. I really do. I don’t even think he knows what he’s talking about. That’s my take on it.”
On the contrary Mick has earlier stated that: “the office of the president expects overseas help “all the time.” And he went on to say “I have news for everybody: Get over it. There’s going to be political influence in foreign policy,” and that is going to happen. Elections have consequences.”
But soon after this, he denied the statements made and said that the media has framed his statements. Sean is the President supporter defended stating that Trump is blameless in spite of Mick’s acknowledgment.
Sean said: “Some of these people are so stupid. Read the transcript,” Hannity said, referring to a document the White House released that was not a transcript but rather a summary of Trump’s call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky” and added saying “We don’t need a non-whistleblower whistleblower. You don’t need a chief of staff’s idiotic interpretation of things when the president and the president of Ukraine and everybody else can read it all themselves. That’s what’s amazing.”
