‘The Witcher’ caught the short burst of popularity by dropping all episodes of the season at once ditching the traditional weekly rollout. Now it’s the top-rated show on Netflix bagging IMBD rating if 8.8.
With shows like ‘The Mandalorian’ and ‘Watchmen’ too is drawing flock of an audience, Witcher had perfect elements to get hooked to, from iconic performance by Henry Cavill to the hit song “Toss A Coin to Your Witcher”, it had it all. But can The Witcher keep that success going with no new episodes to drive the audience back?
Yes, if you are already waiting for season 2 by drawing possible queues from season 1 then your wait is going to pretty long. The filming is gonna start in February of 2020 and predicted to hit screens in the spring of 2021.
So, it’s far away. And ‘The Witcher’ probably won’t be the next Game of Thrones.
