It’s often said that Shenmue had raised the bar for a living and the world of video games saw it released back in 1999. And it was one of the most awaited video games series that was ever created and Shenmue III broke the record becoming the most expensively produced game in 2015.

After all these years AT&T’s Crunchyroll has stated that Shenmue is getting an animated series.

As per sources it will be telecasted in Adult Swim Toonami in the U.S and it will be not only on Crunchyroll it will follow by a game character Ryo Hazuki in his adventure to train as a martial artist and go after the killer of his father.

Besides this, it will have 13 episodes and the other details are not revealed. Shenmue’s director will have the executive producer acknowledgment and it will be done by Chikara Sakurai.

Shenmue III was a flop post the game’s 20 yr name and the new things they couldn’t move forward to the contemporary days but yet the story will move as an animated series.

Well to be specific many are quite a fan of the dubbed Shenmue sequels: the Yakuza games.
