One of the successful golfers for decades is Phil Mickelson who had been earning garners throughout his career. Phil 49 had been playing extraordinary throughout his games but last Friday he left his fans to sink.
As he surpassed the 1st round in the CJ Cup in South Korea Mickelson almost lost in his 2 round. He shot towards the 14th hole which was 353 yards apart. Though many could not touch the goal he had made efforts to come this far.
With the crowd watching him blew it to the goal but unfortunately, it landed just slightly apart. Fans were disappointed as he missed the chance in a slip to grab the trophy.
He had earlier commented that his campaign of the Presidents Cup to his fellow golfer Tiger Woods. Adding to this he said that: if at all he wins the trophy in South Korea he might not still deserve a lot as he had bad ranks last season.
Though he couldn’t make it after the 2nd round he was just 11 shots behind close to winning. Well if luck permits Phil might be back with a bang soon.
