Sinead O’Connor or Stephanie Davis has finally said quits to her long-run series Hollyoaks.
The 27 yr old has exited from her character that was aired in Channel 4 show but stated that it was ‘not on what she wanted but what she knew was right.’
‘I have loved bringing Sinead into your homes for the past ten years but it’s with a heavy heart I have decided to leave Hollyoaks and now looking forward to working on new and exciting projects. Excited!’
When tried to reach her she denied responding to it.
But her representative said: ‘In mutual agreement with Lime Pictures Stephanie Davis is leaving her role as Sinead O’Connor on Hollyoaks.’
Adding to this they said: ‘We would like to thank Stephanie for her huge contribution to the show and the enjoyment her character Sinead has brought to fans.’
The series had been facing quite a lot of challenges for the past few days as 5 days back Rachel Adedji had surprisingly exited stating there is racism off-screen.
Rachel who portrayed Lisa Loveday in the series from 2016 will go in the following months or year prior to lockdown.
She planned to exit the series in 2019 with a representative of Hollyoaks stating that the series was ‘saddened’ by her exit.
Speaking to MailOnline they said: “Rachel made the decision to leave Hollyoaks to pursue other opportunities earlier last year which saddened us at Hollyoaks as she is one of the leading cast members in the show.”
“However, the notice period did allow the writers time to give Lisa Loveday an extremely gripping exit storyline.”
“Viewers will see this story play out later this year as her final scenes were filmed shortly before lockdown.”
