The latest show of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ will commence yet will go on air only for a limited time than its previous seasons to reduce the number of people participating.

An official announcement was made by BBC stating: ‘The Strictly Come Dancing teams are doing everything they can to bring the nation plenty of Strictly magic later this year.’

‘To ensure we deliver the high standards audiences know and love, and in light of the ongoing considerations around Covid-19, this year’s series of Strictly will have a slightly shorter run than usual.

‘The safety of our cast and crew is of the utmost importance to us and further updates will be made in due course.’

But it still remains unclear on how limited the days of the show will be but it is said that Kevin Clifton and AJ Pritchard who exited the show will not be replaced.

Trained dancers will start practicing as per their respective team routines distantly from the end of July and the cast of the show is yet to be released.

As per the usual norms the participants will be announced in July with their rehearsals kick-starting in August for the September launch but as of this year, it is doubted whether it will go as per the schedule.

Speculations are rife on how the event will abide by the new season amidst lockdown as participants who dance together will find it difficult to maintain social distancing.

With this into consideration stars with little children and older participants who might be prone to COVID-19 will be removed off the list.
