Plane crashes are gruesome. Here is what happened to Tarzan’s actor and 6 others in the plane that crashed into Percy Priest Lake, Smyrna, Tennessee, on Saturday.
According to a Federal Aviation Administration registry, the said plane was registered JL & GL Productions LP, located in Bradwell, Tennessee, owned by Gwen Shamblin Lara, wife of William Joe Lara, the Tarzan actor.
The cause of the crash is being investigated by the National Transportation and Safety Board (NTSB) following the recovery of significant plane parts such as the engine. The search area has also been expanded while the Fate Sanders Recreation Area and water traffic in the river are closed until further notice.

The Rutherford examiner’s office has requested to identify the 7 members who boarded the flight-inclusive of her son-in-law, Brandon Hannah, married couples Jennifer and David Martin and Jessica and Jonathan Walters of the flight through the body parts recovered from the lake.
The Rutherford County officials said that “Our teams are all committed to doing absolutely everything we can to bring closure during this very tragic situation.”
NTSB has also added that “Water recoveries are more difficult, so patience is appreciated as it may take some time to release.” and investigation may take up to 18-24 months.
