Taylor Lautner and Tay Dome have shared the main lesson they have learned from their marriage life. 

Amid the celebration of their first anniversary, Tay Dome and Taylor Lautner hosted their inaugural Lemons Foundation gala in Los Angeles. The couple revealed the wisdom they have gained from their one-year-old marriage life. The wise words, “Communication is key,” have given us a glimpse into Taylor Lautner’s marriage insights.

The star’s wife explains they have different communication styles, so whenever they argue (also disagree, not exactly an argument) or get into heated conversations, Taylor knows that she will be quiet and not speak.

Taylor has also opened up about the challenges he faces in his marriage life. “It is frustrating because it’s like I want to talk about everything right then and there and get it over with,” he says. Further, he wants to know his wife’s feelings, but she prefers to take a moment and process and realize exactly what she wants. However, when they figured out their communication style, it was pretty easy for them to get through the hardest times. The couple was being instructed by others that the first year of marriage life would be the hardest, but they have had different experiences it seems. “We’ve been warned by so many people like family, friends, ‘First-year marriage. You know, it’s the hardest,’” Taylor says. “And we were like, ‘Really? Okay.’”

He also adds that it has been smooth sailing so far.
