The Haunted Mask

This is the most iconic and scariest episode of the Goosebumps franchise. Although it is the eleventh book this story was picked to begin the series in 1995. The first story narrates about a young girl Carly Beth ruthlessly bullied by her school friend. In order to take revenge she buys a mask to scare them, turns out it is a haunted mask that scared her by sticking to her face.

 

The Night of Living Dummy III

Goosebumps fans will never forget the name Slappy, a creepy dummy. In this episode, Slappy returns to terrorize with dummy buddies. Trina and Dan’s father is an ex-ventriloquist, and he stocks the old dummies in the attic. When his cousin Zane visits their home, they notice a dummy, which is none other than Slappy. This is one of the best episodes as it is funny as well as spooky.

 

Welcome to the Dead House 

The first Goosebumps book was released by R.L. Stine, this story wasn’t filmed until Season 2, and it is one of the well-known topics. Josh and Amanda move to Darkfalls because of their parents’ force. Once they settle in, Josh and Amanda notice strange things happening around them. Turns out the house is inhabited by the undead affected by chemical repercussions.

 

Stay Out of the Basement

Stay Out of the Basement is a hit for its remarkable settings and special effects. This story has literally brought the team to life. Margaret’s father spends more time in the basement since he lost his job. 

Their mother goes on vacation, and her father’s strange behavior scares Margaret and her brother. Eventually, they discover their father is experimenting on plants that came alive and also he learned to clone humans.

 

Scarecrow Walks at Midnight

The title itself narrates the scary story. The episode follows Jodi and Mark, two siblings who visit their grandparents. Things get scarier when they notice that their grandparents act weird and the Scarecrow scares them even more by walking at midnight.
