As Charlie Barber, Adam Driver gave an incredible performance in Marriage Story. In the role, he delivers an explosive rage and hurls cruel words at his soon-to-be ex-wife Scarlett Johansson. That scene was played natural and stunning.

Lupita Nyong’o won an Oscar for her performance in 12 Years a Slave. And she continues to give us aspiring characters. In Jordan Peele’s Us- Lupita did a fearless role as protagonist Adelaide and her doppelganger Red, which was praised by the audience.

Leonardo DiCaprio has played a lot of outstanding characters. Now once again he proved that in his new role as Rick Dalton in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood- In the film he is a former television star struggling with his career in Hollywood.

His chemistry with Brad Pitt is fantastic as well. His character is a person with mood swings and he handled it well. DiCaprio perfectly captured the emotional moments.

In the movie, Pain & Glory- Banderas gave an aching performance as a successful filmmaker. He gave a clear view on ‘what can happen in our old age’. Antonio Banderas has worked with Pedro Almodovar for many years and still gives his best.

6. Marriage Story- Scarlett Johansson

Scarlett Johansson conveys the anguish and conflicts of a divorced woman in a perfect manner in the movie Marriage Story.

For the role she will soon be awarded with a Best Actress Oscar nomination.

It’s without a doubt that Jennifer Lopez’s role as mama bear stripper Ramona Vega in Hustlers is amazing. JLo is courting serious award consideration for her role.

In Hustler’s movie, Ramona Vega(Jlo) is an exotic dancer who hatches an illegal scheme to extract money from horny Wall Street dudes’ wallets. JLo’s role is both sexy and great.
